Chao Phraya River Cruise article

Ayutthaya, the city of Gods incarnated by Benjarong Cruiser, was the capital of Thailand far 417 years. The city was peaceful and its main activity was about the state affair and trading, which made Ayutthaya on of the most prosperous cities in Asia. It was known all over the world as "Venice of the East". For over 700 years, the kingdom of Thailand has been a water borne culture and even now the Chao Phraya river is still the nation's main communication artery.

Along the way from Bangkok to Bang-Pa-In in Ayudthaya or back, travellers will have the best opportunity to see Thai traditional way of life that still exists,as well as a nice visit to many interesting tourist attractions. Examples are Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts and Craft Center, Bang-Pa-In Palace, an elephant village, Wat Niwetthammaprawat, and some other important temples in Ayudthaya province. From Bangkok, the boat will run through the three main rivers of Thailand, Chao Phraya River, Pasak River, and Lopburi River, until it reaches its private dock at an ancient rice mill in Ayudthaya province in the evening.
